Items needed:
30 large raw shrimp, peeled and de-veined
Minced garlic (to your liking)
15 slices bacon
BBQ sauce, for marinating
30 toothpicks
Directions:
Mix garlic and bbq sauce together and marinate over night or at least 2 hrs.
Preheat oven 450°.
Cut bacon slices in half.
Wrap each shrimp with 1/2 slice of bacon. Using a toothpick, secure the bacon to the shrimp.
Place a cooling rack in baking pan. This is to help keep your shrimp from drowning in the bacon fat.
Place shrimp onto rack. Cook for about 20-25 minutes. Keeping an eye after 20 minutes so you don't burn the shrimp.
NOTE: I did some without toothpicks to see if it would hold and they did. Just turn the end of the bacon downward on the rack and it will stay tucked nicely.
